Our world is hurting. We all need healing, yet many of us are separated from the very source of our strength. Jesus Christ invites us to return to the source and summit of our faith—his Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. The National Eucharistic Revival is a movement to restore understanding and devotion to this great mystery here in the United States by helping us renew our worship of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has called for a Eucharistic Revival to assure a greater appreciation of Christ’s gift of himself to us in the Eucharist. Beginning on Epiphany Sunday 2023, for a series of seven weeks, all parishes within the Diocese of Honolulu will enhance the Mass with a short catechesis to allow a deeper understanding of the Real Presence of Jesus. At the conclusion of the Mass series on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday, we look forward to a more robust celebration of the Eucharist that will attract others to “taste and see the goodness of the Lord.” Download all seven Teaching Mass bulletin inserts. |
